We know that neighborhood based close networks were limited in getting new information, so that these strong ties help less on job hunting. In contrast, the weak ties relationship makes acquaintance who have contacts with person outside that neighborhood based close networks, so that new resources are been exchanged between different close networks.

But what else can strong and weak ties tell us? People start to discover is the information about criminal offending opportunities for youth criminal behavior. And indeed, there are co – relationship between weak ties and crime rate. Since there are no formal training of how to be a criminal, but being a criminal needs specific information about criminal opportunities. Due to this lack of “professional” training, the easiest way to learn related knowledge is to interact with other criminals.
